This is a high-quality professional custom-made lead and will last for years. Made with 4 percent silver solder, for a better harder soldered joint that is shiny and bright and will last many years longer than standard lead-free solder. The silver provides for a better sound quality giving a clear and precise sound.

Standard Connections are made between the connectors on the:

Pin 2 XLR - Tip Jack (Hot)

Pin 3 XLR - Ring Jack (Cold)

Pin 1 XLR - Sleeve Jack (Screen)

For mic/line level use.

This lead is a balanced configuration and is intended for balanced audio equipment

Note if you use this lead on a piece of audio equipment that doesn't have a balanced input or output your audio may not sound correct as pin 3 will not be connected. Please ensure that both your input and output are balanced before buying this lead. Please consult your user manual for both your input and output audio equipment if you are unsure.

Important - Lead length Reference Points

PLEASE MEASURE UP CAREFULLY TO AVOID ERRORS

Leads 1m or less (patch leads) will be measured by visible cable from the rear black boot of the connector. We add 110mm of cable FREE to compensate for the connectors.

Leads over 1m will be measured cut length of cable. The connectors use up 110mm of cable.

If you need any specific length or need a little extra please ask - it can be made to that length as these are made to measure when we receive the order. Contact us once the order is placed or leave a message
